Cast Off

This is your Captain speaking, this is the launch of the S.M.S Three Penny Opera. Whoo. We had a successful outing at Anime Weekend Atlanta 14, the reception was really great for our costumes. Considering this was our first time Cosplaying that so rocks.

Go us. So next on the agenda is next cons? There is Momocon and then that convention they are trying to get going down at Alabama. Its free?

Also thinking maybe could do winter designs? I've already started planning on a coat. And also redoing my costume for Halloween. Rocky Horror watch out.

Don't have time to do fun aging stuff with photos--I'll just post them for now and we can mess with them later. I have to say, I'm in love with the winter costume idea. I have an idea for a patchwork skirt I want to do and I want a fuzzy coat. Oliva would wear fur, I think. I've see fur coats in thrift stores before. If I can find a few, maybe I can patch something together with them, too.

This post is Joel, the oddball guy Mrs. Herring used to put up with. :P (Yay for accounts with multiple personalities.)

Here I was thinking I was gonna get an email. I didn't even think to check here.

We're glad you like the pictures and everything. I think we were all a little surprised at how well it all went over at the convention. People seem to think steampunk is going get a lot bigger come next year. Given the freedom of the genre, it should be interesting to see what kinds of off the wall things people come up with.
